TakeMatch

Terms of use

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and TakeMatch when you visit the site or use an account. Please read them with our Privacy notice and Cookie policy.

In plain words: be honest, treat people’s data with care, post real casting work, and remember that TakeMatch connects people but does not hire anyone itself.

Who we are and this agreement

TakeMatch (“we”, “us”) provides the casting platform at www.takematch.com. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TakeMatch.

If you use TakeMatch for a company, agency or production, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 18 or older. A profile for a performer under 18 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Do not pretend to be someone else or create accounts for people without their permission.
  • Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been misused.

What TakeMatch does, and does not do

TakeMatch lets talent publish profiles and apply to casting jobs, and lets casting teams post jobs, search public profiles and move applicants through a status pipeline. We also provide contact credits, plans and AI licences described below.

TakeMatch is a platform, not a talent agency, employer, producer or party to any engagement. Any casting, audition, booking or contract is between talent and the casting team. We do not guarantee that a job is genuine, that anyone will be hired, or that a profile is accurate, although we review job posts before they go live and act on reports. Check who you are dealing with, and never pay anyone to be cast.

If you are talent

  • You decide whether your profile is public. Contact details are never shown on your public page; casting teams can unlock them using contact credits.
  • Only upload photos, videos and details that are yours or that you have the right to use, and that show you or your work. Personal details such as age, height or ethnicity are optional.
  • Applying to a role shares your application, note and profile with the team that owns the job.
  • You may set a price and allow AI licences for your profile (see “AI licences”).

If you are a casting team

  • Post only real casting work you are authorised to offer. Do not charge talent to apply or to be considered, and do not ask for payment, bank details or identity documents through TakeMatch.
  • Describe roles honestly. Do not discriminate unlawfully. A role may specify age, gender or look where that is a genuine casting requirement.
  • Jobs are reviewed before they appear publicly. We may reject, edit-request, unpublish or remove a job that breaks these terms. Editing a live job sends it back for review.
  • Use talent information, including unlocked contact details and application data, only for the casting you received it for. Do not copy it, resell it, add people to marketing lists without their consent, or share it outside your production team.
  • Update applicant statuses fairly and promptly. Applicants are notified when their status changes.

Credits, plans and payments

  • Contact credits: casting teams use credits to unlock a talent profile’s contact details. Unlocking the same profile again does not cost more. New casting accounts may receive welcome credits, which have no cash value.
  • Plans and purchases: prices are shown in Indian rupees on our Pricing page and at the time of purchase. We may pause purchases, change plans or prices, or add or retire features.
  • Online checkout may not be available yet. Where it is not, plans and credits can be added to an account by us. When checkout is turned on, the payment terms, taxes and any refund rights that apply will be shown clearly before you pay, and you will pay through a payment provider we name in our Privacy notice.
  • Credits and plans are personal to your account and cannot be sold or transferred.

AI licences

Talent can choose whether to allow AI use of their profile and set licence prices. A casting team with a suitable plan can buy a time-limited AI licence for a profile that allows it. A licence covers only the use described when it is bought and only for the period it runs. Without a current licence, nobody may use a person’s photos, video, voice or likeness on TakeMatch to train, tune or prompt an AI system, or to generate synthetic versions of them.

Your content and the licence you give us

You own the content you upload. You give TakeMatch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize and display it so we can run the service: for example showing a public profile to visitors, showing your application to the casting team, and delivering images through our storage and delivery providers. This licence ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for copies in backups for a short period and for content others have lawfully saved or shared.

You promise you have the rights to what you upload, that it does not infringe anyone’s rights, and that anyone who appears in it has agreed to it being shown. You are responsible for it.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • post unlawful, false, misleading, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit content, or anything involving minors in an inappropriate way;
  • run scams, fake casting calls or any activity that tries to take money or personal data from people;
  • scrape the site, send unsolicited bulk messages, or collect profiles or contact details in bulk;
  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems, or test security without our written permission;
  • use profile data to build AI systems or datasets without a valid AI licence;
  • do anything that breaks the law, including laws on privacy, publicity and intellectual property.

Moderation, suspension and ending

We may remove content, reject or unpublish jobs, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm others or the platform. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, but we may act immediately to protect people or the service.

You can stop using TakeMatch and delete your account from your Account page at any time. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue (such as ownership, liability and governing law) survive after your account ends.

Our rights

The TakeMatch name, logo, software, design and text are ours or our licensors’. You may use the site for its intended purpose, but may not copy, modify or reuse our materials without written permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

If you believe content on TakeMatch infringes your rights, tell us through the contact form with enough detail to find and assess it.

Service “as is”

TakeMatch is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content from users is accurate, or that you will find work or talent. Features may change.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, TakeMatch is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or opportunities, or for anything that happens between talent and casting teams, including a booking, payment or dispute. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid TakeMatch in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TakeMatch changes. The “last updated” date shows the latest version. For material changes we will tell you in the product or by email. If you keep using TakeMatch after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, you can close your account.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved that way.
